1and1 Admin Panel Down

Not sure if anyone else is receiving this today, but for the life of me, I can't log in to 1and1's admin control panel. When I check their system status, they say all systems are functional, so I'm not sure what's up today. Hopefully, it's just me.

I pressed F5 to refresh a couple of times, and that fixed it.

    Yep this has been going on for weeks, possibly months. I phoned their tech support line and I have had no end of problems.

    There was at first denials, then I kept getting cut off, then they admitted it, then I was told that I should not phone tech support but should phone the complaints line!?!? I have been told that it will be fixed 'soon'.

    I suggested to 1and1 that they should make this problem 'public' and keep us updated as to what the problems are and what is being done to fix it, you know, something called customer care. They hung up on me.

    I am about to put together a YouTube video showing the login times etc. It's time to name and shame them on this one. I'll also be calling their tech (lame) support again and recording the ridiculous answers / excuses / not caring attitude.

    I've been trying to log into the admin interface so I can unlock the domain that I have registered through them and transfer it to my other registrar. I've already transferred all but one of my sites (just need my client to purge their email accounts on that one) and then I am GONE from 1and1. New provider I get either on the phone or in chat within a minute all the times I've tried to contact them.
    On a final note, I called 1&1 earlier and they told me their tech's were working on it and to try again in an hour. That was before I saw all these posts, now I am convinced they were just trying to get me off the phone because they don't have a valid answer.

    "Problem loading page" for me this evening. Second time in a week. If I ever do get on it will be to transfer my domains off.

    Ha, I found your post by Googling "1and1 piece of shit" and you were the first :)

    Anyways, I too intend on leaving 1and1 ASAP. I've been having issues where they're telling me my server is spamming but they refuse to help at all, claiming its my problem. I won't lie, I'm a CPanel type of guy and I even told them that I wasn't looking for them to fix it for me, just assist me in seeing what they see. The jerk tech then transfers me to the abuse line, assuring me they'll help me out. Wrong. The next a-hole decides to, as usual, pull the "it's not my problem" card. I told him to keep and eye on the account as I intend on calling his superiors and cancelling my hosting plan, all because he was a dick.

    Calling his boss now... ;)
