This was very helpful! I'm playing with IMSDroid using PhonePower as the VoIP provider and nobody I know really wants me calling them at 2:16 in the AM . ;-)
BUT I REALLY was jonesing to know how the call quality is and at least I know it's not all chopped up!
Calling this number helped me test the call quality of 2 different voip providers. I called the number with MagicJack and PhonePower (at the same time) I put the MagicJack phone to one ear and the PhonePower phone to the other ear. From this test i was able to determine that MagicJack had a bit more delay than PhonePower - also PhonePower as a bit clearer.
I would like to setup something like this with a UK number, does anyone have a UK number (Preferably 0800) that could provide an echo test or advice on how to set something like this up. My VoIP provider cant help me out here
